TODAY'S READINGS First Reading -- The widow of Zarephath had only a handful of flour and a little oil, but made a little cake for Elijah (1 Kings 17:10-16). Psalm -- Praise the Lord, my soul! (Psalm 146). Second Reading -- Chr ist will appear a second time to bring salvation to those who eagerly await him (Hebrews 9:24-28). Gospel -- Beware of those who like to go around in long robes and accept greetings in the market-places and places of honor at banquets (Mark 12:38-44 [41-44]).
Volunteers Needed A booth will be set up at the Home for the Holidays Arts and Crafts Festival to sell tickets for the Sau-sage Festival truck raffle. The event will take place at the Mallet Event Center. The festival will be on
Saturday, November 14th 9am-6pm and Sunday, No-vember 15th 12pm-5pm. We need volunteers to help run the booth at different time allotments. If you are interested in helping, please contact Abel Perez at

National Catholic Youth Conference The Youth attending the NCYC to Indiana would like to Thank everyone who has donated. In our "Make the Change" fundraiser alone we have
collected over $1200. Thank you so much for your generosity and many Blessings. They are still
accepting any donations and will be selling Raffle tickets in the foyer after every mass for a Michael
Kors purse and a handmade Cross.
Annual Thanksgiving Dinner Join us for the St. Michael’s Annual Thanksgiving
Dinner on November 8, 2015 from 10am-3pm. $10/Adults
$6/ Child 6 & under Plates will include turkey, dressing, mashed pota-

Baptism Preparation Class Baptism Classes are the 3rd Saturday of each month at 8:30am. You must register at the office at least 1-2weeks before class. You must have the official birth
certificate to register. Once all requirements are met, the
baptism will be scheduled. Baptisms are only held on the 4th weekend of the month during one of the Mass
Times. Please call the Parish office for more information.
Would you like to donate and dedicate the altar flowers for a
week? It’s easy to do and a great way to celebrate a special oc-casion or remember a loved one and at the same time beautify
the Church. HERE’S HOW IT WORKS: Flowers are used during weekend masses & remain for the

Marriage Preparation Must meet with one of the deacons or with the priest

RightWay Imaging Screening On November 23rd, Rightway Imaging will be bring-
ing its mobile unit here to St. Michael. They will be per-forming vascular and abdominal ultrasound screenings
which are non-invasive and painless. While at the church they will be examining 8 areas of the body. They will be screening the Carotid arteries on both sides of the neck looking for parry plaque build-up and blockage. This is the # 1 cause of stroke… The Thyroid for cysts, masses and unusual growth. The lower abdominal Aorta for an-eurysms, the liver, the spleen, gallbladder, and kidneys. These are tests that are NOT performed in routine physi-cals, nor will insurance companies pay for them unless you are symptomatic. In a hospital, these tests will cost thousands collectively. They offer these tests for $45
each, or all 8 screenings for $139. A representative will be here at each Mass on No-vember 14 &15 to answer questions and schedule appointments. You can also call 281-616-9192.
“Pay it Forward” Thanksgiving Dinner Hockley County Senior Citizen’s will hold a dinner
and bake sale on Saturday, November 14. Doors open at 11am. 1202 Houston St..
