• UNECE Road Transport Agreements are vital to countries- Facilitate international transport and border crossing- Provide for efficiency, harmonize and improve standards- Provide market access, integration, inclusion in globalization- Provide for road safety and environmental performance- Basic tools for common pan-European and Euro-Asian transport space- Unique models for developing national legislation
• Palestine will benefit from - Using experiences of other countries - Studying international agreements and - Using them as models for developing national legislation
• An awareness raising workshop on UNECE Main Road Transport Agreements may prove very useful and is highly recommended
