Wooden Floor Care

Daily maintenance remains the same across all of our floors, whether they are lacquered or nature oiled. On a daily basis, floors can be vacuumed. When damp cleaning, always use a well-wrung mop or cloth and don’t allow any spilt water to remain on the wooden floor due to its sensitivity to moisture.

LacqueredEssentials lacquered wooden floors can be treated with lacquer refreshers to replenish a surface that’s become scratched and dulled. The more coats that are applied, the higher the gloss value becomes; this is particularly apparent on matt lacquered products.

Natural OilOiled floors are primed with oil for public environments. The first maintenance should be carried out after the floor has been installed. Mainte-nance intervals will then be determined by level of traffic, use and cleaning methods. It is important to maintain the floor before the oiled barrier is worn, to avoid dirt penetrating the wear layer.
