ENTERTAINMENT AND HOUSING DISTRICT DESIGNED TO BE WHERE FORT WORTH FLOWS
FORT WORTH, Texas – April 14, 2016 – A team of Dallas-Fort Worth-based urban planners, builders andinvestors today announced plans for The River District, an upscale residential and commercial communitydesigned to realize the full potential of a culturally, historically and naturally rich area in Fort Worth’s belovedWestside. Located three miles west of downtown Fort Worth, The River District will offer entertainment,housing, restaurants and recreation in a largely-untraveled section of streets in West Fort Worth. Initialpartners, developers and builders include Fort Capital, LP; Greystar; James R. Harris Partners; LVGInvestments; and Village Homes. Residential builders engaged in the project to date are Clarity Homes andVillage Homes. With construction on residential and commercial projects beginning this spring, The River District has beendesigned to enhance the existing natural landscape, grow neighborhood opportunities and provide moregathering places for Fort Worth residents. The 276-acre community of homes, townhomes and apartments,coupled with commercial, entertainment and retail space, will be the first of its kind in Fort Worth – a districtcompletely anchored by the Trinity River.
“Fort Worth doesn’t need just another build project,” said Chris Powers, CEO of Fort Capital and one of thedevelopers behind The River District. “We need more neighborhoods surrounding our river, more socialspots, more unique restaurants and businesses and more walkable areas in our city. The River District willoffer amenities you can’t find anywhere else in Fort Worth while making great use of the natural resourceswe have and helping build up a long-time community.”
In addition to offering upscale living options, The River District will be home to Crystal Springs on the River,a new outdoor amphitheater and entertainment center including innovative restaurants, live music venues,shops and riverside access. Residences in the district are planned to be within walking distance of CrystalSprings, which will break ground in May and is projected to open in the summer of 2017.

The River District team has already begun residential construction in the area. OVERVIEW
The River District is an entertainment and housing district in West Fort Worth, offering outdoor and indoor entertain-ment options and unique restaurants in a beautiful riverside setting that’s right outside the downtown district.
What: A 276-acre community of residences and commercial buildings anchored by the Trinity River, a commercial and retail area, and a new outdoor amphitheater and entertainment center called Crystal Springs on the River.
Where: Located in the culturally, historically and naturally rich area between two bridges crossing the Trinity River on Fort Worth’s Westside, 10 minutes from downtown and three minutes from West 7th Street.
When: General opening scheduled for summer 2017. Apartments currently beginning construction, with plans to wel-come residents by fall 2017; construction of Crystal Springs on the River to begin in Q2 2017, with a completion date scheduled for early 2018.
DISTRICT HIGHLIGHTS
The River District will combine the river, recreation and residences into an iconic Fort Worth destination.
• Access and enjoyment of the Trinity River and the existing natural surroundings will take priority in every neighbor-hood and entertainment project built in The River District.

• Fort Capital Office Building will feature 16,500sf of Class-A Office space - 100% of which has been leased. The building will showcase a state of the art industrial design.

The relocated Salsa Limon building will live across the road from Elan at The River District and Lettuce Cook Gour-met, and Abundio’s Fitness Studio will be next door to Flowers on the Square on White Settlement Rd. Other tenants to be announced this year.
• Crystal Springs on the River, named to commemorate the birthplace of Texas Swing, will combine food, healthy living, shopping and recreation in an entertainment center to be designed and built by Lake | Flato, a Texas-based architectural firm noted for sustainable projects embracing natural settings.
