Emergency Management Activities (CUC)

• Implementation of new Emergency Operations Plan

• Identify, train, and exercise Incident Management Team

• Establish and equip an Emergency Operations Center

• Identify and train Functional Response Teams

• Development of emergency guidance for CUC staff

• Establish and maintain emergency supplies and equipment for CUC and Consortium-wide emergency response

• Develop a CUC Building Marshal Program

• Intercollegiate Emergency Preparedness Committee

• Executive level participation to help set the vision and direction for emergency management at each of the colleges.

• Address collaborative opportunities for The Claremont Colleges to strengthen our ability to mitigate against, prepare for, respond to, and recover from manmade or natural disasters.

• Manage the consortium-wide Emergency Notification System

• Conduct disaster training and facilitate drills and exercises for requesting consortial campuses

• Build relations and coordinate planning activities with local and regional emergency response agencies

• Participation in individual campuses Emergency Planning Committees

• Provide consult and planning services for all campuses

• Implementation of a Crisis Management System
