Periodical maintenance and Calibration are beingperformed for ensuring the quality and compatibility ofthe laboratory equipment and tools, that already havevalid signed certificate from the National Institute forStandard (NIS ), Egypt.

To Perform the required Calibration and loop check forall instruments including local instruments, panelmounted instruments. Control and safety valves andfoundation field bus devices

EGYPTO has very qualified specialist with largeexperience and latest technology in instrumentscalibration and troubleshooting for oil and gas projects

Instrumentation Calibration Lab

Toxic Gas Detector : Inject Clean air or 100% nitrogen gas into sensor

using a calibration device with proper flow (dependon detector type, MANF. ), to carry zero calibration.

Inject standard gas into the sensor using a calibrationdevice with proper flow () for certain time , to carryspan gas calibration.

Fire and Gas Calibration Methodology

Gas Detector :

• Insert clean air or 100% nitrogen for certain time at specific rate (the rate depend on MANF, Type ) with calibrating tool to carry zero calibration.

• Insert Calibration gas for 1 minute at the rate of (500mL/min ) with calibrating tool to carry span gas calibration.

EGYPTO have two fully qualified HAZOP/ HAZID/SILfacilitators whose experience span the full spectrum ofHAZOP studies.

The team have managed many full facility HAZOP studies. They have also worked on numerous minor modifications and

procedural HAZOPs including drilling and well servicing andintervention operations.

EGYPTO’s HAZOP team comprise of scribes andindependent process engineers thereby enabling EGYPTO tomanage the HAZOP/ HAZID/SIL process and deliverablesincluding action assessment and closeout.
