In pursuance of the provision of Sub-Rule (12) of Rule 33 of the DelhiLiquor Licence Rules, 1976, it is hereby ordered that the following dates/daysshall be observed as Dry Days during the period commencing from 1.1.2010to 31.12.2010 in the National Capital Territory of Delhi by all L-1, L-1A,L-1F,L-2, L-2A, L-2F, L-2FE, L-2FG, L-7, L-7F, L-9, L-10, L-11, L-12, L-15, L-16, L-17, L-52, L-52F, L-52FE, L-52FG, L-53, CLW-1, FLW-2, licensees and opiumvends located in Delhi.

All L-4, L-4B, L-4C, L-4F, L-5, L-5A, L-5B, L-5F, L-6, L-6A, L-19, L-19A,L-19F, L-20 and L-49A licensees shall observe only the following days as drydays:

1. Republic Day 26.01.20102. Independence Day 15.08.2010

3. Mahatma Gandhis Birthday 02.10.2010

The above order is subject to the provision that the Commissioner of Excise, with approval of the Lt. Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, may at any time, declare any dry day in addition to above, in respect of :-

a. Any date/day notified as holiday Under Section 25 of theNegotiable Instruments Act.

b. The day/date of polling and two days immediately precedingthe day/date of polling during any election/bye election to be

conducted by the Election Commission of India within theNational Capital Territory of Delhi;

c. Any other date/day desired to be observed as such in emergentcases or may delete any date from the above list.

The licensees shall not be entitled to any compensation on account of anychanges effected in the above list.

The restriction of sale on liquor on dry days mentioned above shall notapply to the service of liquor to residents in case of hotels having L-3 / L-

3F licence.

All the licensees shall exhibit this list at some conspicuous place of theirlicensed premises.
