David Hughes
As you know we have been praying for David Hughes for quite
some time now. For those of you who don’t know him, he
grew up in Bethel Park, and his family attended South Hills
Church of the Nazarene. Some of us knew him as a young kid.
Others of us knew him in his teen years. Like today, the teen
group he was a part of was very close. David had a lot of ener-
gy as a teen. He was one of the ones that made life interesting
for the leaders. Presently, David and his wife Sarah, who both
attended Eastern Nazarene College, have 2 children: Ethan, age
14 and Seth, age 11. David was diagnosed with colon cancer a
few years ago. Please pray for the doctors to have wisdom and
for the healing touch of God. However, during these past few
years David has been on disability, and the medical costs are
out of this world. They could really use any donations, whether
cash or gift certificates. The medical burden is very great with-
out adding an insurmountable financial one. Please contact
Kelly Tatum at 412-303-9725 or Sue Baun at 423-418-5626 by
the end of August if you are interested in helping them out in
this time of great need. They need our prayers and support now
more than ever.

Message from Children’s Ministries…
Beginning Sunday, September 6, the children in grades 1 to 6 will be returning to their school year Children's Church and Sunday School schedule.
Parents can find which classroom their child will be in by finding their child(s) name on the outside of the SS classrooms.
On the first, third, fourth, fifth Sundays of the month, the children will worship with their families until the "children are dismissed to children's church" slide shows on the screen. On the 2nd Sunday, (children's mission Sunday), the children will go di-rectly to the children's chapel.
Also beginning on September 6, a child information card needs to be completed by the parent(s). It will include such information as allergies, special instruc-tions, Sunday school dismissal preference, birth date, etc. The teachers will be passing them out. Parents, please return the cards as soon as possible. This information is needed in order to serve you and your child better. Thank you for your help.
