Objective– Support Program in performing
timely remediations by providing engineering services (also supports matching grants)
– Scope of Work in Attachment 1 (Item G/6)
– Work Order-based contract
Funding– FY 2007/08: $400K+ $100K Tire– FY 2008/09: $400K– FY 2009/10: $400K– Adjusted depending on demand/need– Not-to-exceed $1,300,000
Contract Term– Execute by April 2008– Terminate May 2010

Objective– Support Program in performing timely
remediations by providing cleanup services
– Geographic split (north/south) with each contract serving as backup for the other
– Scopes of Work in Attachments 1-2 (Item H/7)
– Work Order-based contracts
Funding (each contract)– FY 2007/08: $1,500K + $450K Tire– FY 2008/09: $1,500K + $250K Tire– FY 2009/10: $1,500K + $500K Tire– Adjusted depending on need– Not-to-exceed $5,700,000

Staff recommend the Board adopt Resolutions Nos. 2007-197 (Item G/6 Engineering Services Contract) and Resolution Nos. 2007-198 and 2007-204 (Item H/7 Environmental Services Contracts) to:
– Approve the Scopes of Work to implement the Engineering Services Contract and Environmental Services Contracts
– Authorize staff to develop and advertise using RFQ process and select contractors for presentation to the Board.
