A measurement of the amount of light reflected from a colored object. Shade – add black Tint - add white Tone - add white

& black = gray

Psychological Effects:

Warm Colors: Red, Orange, Yellow (happy feelings)

Cool Colors: Blue, Green, Purple ( peaceful, soothing)
