Cúl Art ShowouseWelcome to Cúl Art House designed by gaeilgeoir, artist, architect, designer and TV personality Róisín Murphy to celebrate Bliain na Gaeilge - The Year of The Irish.

Róisín is the presenter of RTE’s Home Rescue (formerly called: Desperate Houses).

Róisín has created a crisp, modern architectural design and contemporary styling augmented by the use of native crafts and materials which add colour and character to the interior. She has sourced limestone from Carlow, marble from Connemara, tweed from Donegal and copper from Longford.

Irish art, furniture, lighting, accessories and designer items from the pioneering modernists of the 60’s have been placed alongside the latest contemporary concepts in the use of colour, space and creature comforts.

This is a house of contrasting elements from the external corrugated cladding to the exotic elegance of the Waterford Crystal chandeliers - all set in an Atlantic Coastal Garden complete with beach scene, fishing pots, currach and water lapping close outside.
