Do not deceive yourself

•Stop following the wisdom of this world•Stop boasting about men•“All things are yours”

•Use what God has given you to serve him•‘Huperetes’ – faithful like rowers in a boat

Like rowers in a boat:•We don’t always know the direction•Continuous forward motion•Timing•Team work

We need to be faithful with what God has given us

•Using what God has given us to serve him•‘Huperetes’ – faithful like rowers in a boat•‘Oikonomos’ – faithful like a steward

•Based in a household•Under authority•Having authority•Ownership

God is interested in our faithfulness

•The court of public opinion•The court of self assessment•The judgement seat of Christ

•What is hidden will be brought to light•The motives of our hearts will be exposed•Each will receive his praise from God
