Year in Review – July 2015 IFMA Scholarship Golf Tournament
• On July 15, 2015, the Chapter held its first tournament at
the Dauphin Highlands Golf Course.
Year in Review – August 2015 “Filling the Void: Advancing the
Industry”
• On August 19, 2015, the Chapter held its monthly program at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology in Lancaster.
Year in Review – September 2015 “Sustainability September”
• On September 16, 2015, the Chapter held its monthly
program at the York County Administrative Center, and learned about SAG – IFMA National’s Sustainability Strategic Advisory Group.
• On September 23, 2015, the Community Outreach Committee held an event for “Dress for Success” at the Harrisburg Mall.
• The Board of Directors approved a proposal for redesign of the Chapter website.
Year in Review – October 2015 “Strategic Relationships to Be
Successful!”
• On October 21, 2015, the Chapter held its monthly program at Holy Spirit – A Geisinger Affiliate, in Camp Hill where the focus was on how Facility Managers put on the Superhero suit and “Save the Day” every day.
Year in Review – October 2015 Community Outreach
• On October 11, 2015, the Community Outreach
Committee held an event at “Leg Up Farm” in York where volunteers stained benches and pergolas and assisted with other tasks.
Year in Review – October 2015 World Workplace
• Ten Chapter members attended World Workplace 2015
in Denver, CO. • The Chapter presented a $4,000 scholarship to Admir
Sabljic from Temple University.
Year in Review – November 2015 “Double Vision”
• On November 11, 2015, the Chapter held its first monthly
program in State College at Beaver Stadium with over 80+ members and guests in attendance.
Year in Review – January 2016 “Design & Construction “ ” Operations & Maintenance”
• On January 20, 2016, the Chapter held its monthly
program at Masonic Village in Elizabethtown PA which focused on how does facility information mutate over the life-cycle from project conception, through project management, transitioning to facility management and portfolio management?
Year in Review – February 2016 “Working Assessment for Future Community Outreach Project”
• On February 17, 2016, the Chapter held its monthly
program at the Boys & Girls Club in Harrisburg, PA.
Year in Review – February 2016 Community Outreach
• On February 17, 2016, the Community Outreach Committee held an event for “Dress for Success” of South Central, PA.
Year in Review – March 2016 “A Conversation with Congressman
Charlie Dent”
• On March 7, 2016, the Advocacy Committee coordinated our first joint event with the IFMA Lehigh Valley Chapter at Kutztown University.
Year in Review – March 2016 GREENCON
• On March 17, 2016, the Sustainability Committee
coordinated the Chapter’s support of GREENCON which was held at Dickinson College, Carlisle, PA.
Year in Review – April 2016 “American Success Story”
• On April 20, 2016, the Chapter held its first monthly program in Lebanon, PA at Henry Molded Products which focused on how their manufacturing plant produces high quality protective packaging material from waste paper.
Year in Review – May 2016 “4th Annual Day on the Hill”
• On May 18, 2016, the Chapter held its 4th Annual “Day
on the Hill” program at the PA Judicial Center in Harrisburg, PA.
New Chapter Website – May 2016 • On May 11, 2016, the Chapter unveiled its new website!
