Lucie raised £350 by fasting for CAFOD on Lent Fast Day. Fantastic effort Lucie!

Cake sale for CAFOD

St Brigidine’s, Windsor pupils raised money for CAFOD this Lent by selling cakes and bric-a-brac. Thanks everyone!

Reading schools speak up for CAFOD!

English Martyrs, St Martin’s, Christ the King, St Paul’s and St Dominic Savio and St Joseph’s College Prep all took part in a speaking competition for CAFOD on the theme of hunger. Thanks everyone!

A football fundraiser for Makuu!

St. Cuthbert’s school, Durham were so inspired by the Lent story of Makuu from Kenya and his love of football that they made footballs out of money for CAFOD! Great idea!

Sheffield is Hungry for change!

18 schools in the Hallam area sent in designs for the Hallam Hunger cloth, and pupils told people why they were Hungry for change at the Winter Garden. They were even on BBC Radio Sheffield!

St Mary’s, Malton

Pupils made a trail of coins around their classrooms in Malton and raised £150 for CAFOD as part of their fundraising day! Thank you St Mary’s!

A Fast Day celebration at Salford Cathedral

Thanks to Our Lady of Lourdes for the readings, The Cathedral School for the Bidding prayers and St Boniface’s for the Offertory at this great Fast Day Mass.

Angus buys a goat!

6 year old Angus earned money by helping his Nan and Grandad to buy a goat, just like Tabita’s in Kenya. Well done Angus, what a star!
