DEAN WHITE, AAF, AIFD, CAFA ( 1928 - March 25,2018)

In 2007 at CAFA's 15th Anniversary, Dean was bestowed a CAFA honourary membership. He was thrilled! World Flower Council Chairman Emeritus Dean White was at the founding meeting of WFC and was still busy to the end supportive of family, friends and floral associations around the world, like CAFA.  With Dean leading WFC for so long, WFC became a recognized global organization.   Dean’s stewardship of responsibility and dedication to the international floral community is legendary, giving CAFA members such a legacy of service and a visionary heritage to follow. He celebrated life and CAFA was part of it. We were thrilled! GORDON C. FULTON, AIFD, CAFA (1962 - November 13,2017)

The floral industry lost a joyous individual and designer, who left us suddenly and far too young. We won when Gord, after being a sign language interpreter and assisting a deaf student through their floral studies, discovered his passion for floral design to share with the world. He possessed a sharp eye for design, unbridled. and enthusiasm and an insatiable desire to learn, grow and share with everyone. In Didsbury, Alberta, he was owner of Victoria’s Flowers and Gifts, named after his daughter . He enjoyed international participation in shows, workshops, and competitions. He was a CAFA member since 2015 .
