Teach a new group every two years.

This means not having a 5th and 6th year group every year.

In promoting Link Modules we try to make the subject appealing by doing the following:

Parents information evening for incoming 5th years.

Teachers speak to incoming 5th year pupils about link modules

Current link modules students to give a brief talk to incoming 5th years about the link modules programme.

Keep a record of all visits in.

A)Staff meetings and briefings.

A)Students submit articles for our school newsletter.

A)We highlight key activities on our electronic notice board.

We update information to our school website via our ICT teacher.

We submit photographs and articles to our local newspapers .

Liaise with the TY coordinator so as to avoid duplicity of events e.g visits in, visits out.

Link Modules visits in and visits out which are exclusive to the Link Modules programme may make it more attractive to pupils.

Cooperation with other programmes

Ask pupils to evaluate their contributions to activities and to reflect upon what new skills they may have acquired.

Keep an ideas book in the classroom for pupils to record their ideas for link modules related activities.

Finally!!! Enjoy teaching the Link Modules

programme and the skills it allows your students to learn.

Thank you for your attention.
