Identify the entrepreneurial opportunities for the inmates in Cavite.

Help rehabilitate inmates for their eventual reintegration to the community

Propose an Inmate entrepreneurship program that can help in the inmates’ rehabilitation.

Determine the socio-demographic and socio-economic profile of the inmates.

Determine the inmates entrepreneurial skills. Determine the entrepreneurial willingness and

readiness of inmates based on their socio-demographic and socio-economic profile.

Proposed programs to develop the entrepreneurial capability of the inmates including livelihood programs and other productive activities based on the inmates preferred entrepreneurial ventures.

Difficulty in getting information from the inmates

Difficulty in encouraging our lawmakers to sponsor a bill to facilitate the implementation of the program.

Success of the program depends on the generosity of some of our businessmen.

Inmates must be offered entrepreneurial program and activities with the intention of helping them reform.

For the government to take the initiative to coordinate with private enterprise to make this project feasible.

Creation of an Inmate entrepreneurship program through a reform bill initiated by the lawmakers.

The intent of the Law should be to maximize the productivity, economic conditions, & income of inmates while involved in the program’s production of goods & services.

The Law should be explicit in identifying the role of correctional institutions, & participating industries in helping the inmates to become productive.

Identification of persons and agencies responsible in the implementation of the program.

Reintegration of inmates to help them cope outside the prison cell.

Reduce the rate of recidivism.
