What is a field guide?

A field guide is a book designed to help the reader identify wildlife. It

is generally designed to be brought into the 'field' or local area where

such objects exist to help distinguish between similar objects.

Objectives• Build an online, collaborative, interactive, custumizable

Field Guide (FG) for the Antarctic wildlife

• Feed EoL with the information

• Web application dedicated to manage and offer public access to a database of Antarctic field guide entries

• Possibility to build custom FG by browsing and selecting AFG entries.
