Beautiful Circuit Documentation

For this project I wanted to dive right into using the Arduino LilyPad. I

wanted the piece to have LED lights that would fade in and out at different

intervals so that when the lights are off around the piece, the LED’s cast

interesting shadows on the different ridges within the structure of the bodice. My

circuit is completed using conductive thread to attach the components to one

another. The LED’s are sewn in Parallel to one another to ensure each LED

receives enough power (perhaps its overkill but why not). For the structure of the

bodice itself I worked out of the pattern-drafting book Pattern Magic 2 which

allowed me to produce an interesting accordion shape that creates negative

space for the electronics to reside within.

Components. Arduino LilyPad part number: LILYP-398328 2 ply Conductive thread Lillypad battery pack with switch part number:0567-SPF 3 white LED’s with resistors part number: APT3216QWF/D 1.5 metres red cotton fabric One zipper

All electronic components were purchased from Creatron.
