Plan

• The purpose of this training is to provide school-level test coordinators with the knowledge, skills and resources needed to effectively and efficiently administer the BOG 3 test.

• Participants will be able to:

• Plan and implement the BOG 3 test administration according to North Carolina and Montgomery County Schools testing programs.

• Locate testing resources to assist with proper test planning and administration.

• Understand the current changes and future direction of the North Carolina and Montgomery County Schools testing programs.

• Identify primary resources for an effective testing program

• Interim- Collect and review school-level testing plans.

• Summative- Audit the administration of the BOG 3 test.

• Sharpened No. 2 pencils

• Clock/timer ( 90 minutes suggested; 180 minutes limit)

NC BOG 3 ELA/Reading Test Assessment Guide • All students except

• IEP states extend content standards

• WIDA level below 4.0 AND 1st year in U.S. schools

• Medical exceptions approved by the NCDPI

• One day, unless noted

• Administered at the same time

• 42 multiple choice items; 90 minutes estimated; 180 minutes maximum

• Three-minute break every 30-minutes; 5 minutes warning

• NO CELL PHONES
