YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULT
MINISTRY
SCHOOL STARTS in just under 3 weeks for a lot of students in
our area. I can remember the first day back, everyone was
always curious what you did over the summer. Most of the time
I would share the books I read or the adventures of which my
mom and I would go. As I got older, I would reflect on how much
the Lord had changed me in the past year. What will you share
this coming start of school? How has the Lord changed you this
summer? How have you loved another or shared your faith with
someone? If this summer hasn’t been great so far, do not fear!
“It is the Lord who marches before you; he will be with you and
will never fail you or forsake you. So do not fear or be dismayed.”
Deuteronomy 31:8
YOU ARE never too far gone for the Lord to enter your life or
make your summer a new and exciting adventure for the two of
you. Take a step toward Him as you get closer to school. Take
time to go to Reconciliation, daily Mass or Eucharistic Adoration.
Jesus is never tired of waiting for you, run to Him!
