How do you know these children are ready?

Looking smart

Why do we wear uniform?

• So everyone looks like they belong to our Academy

• So we are comfortable and able to join in• To save our home clothes from paint, glue etc.• To be proud of our learning and our academy• To make it easier to be ready for school

What should you wear?

• Grey skirt/trousers• White polo shirt• Green sweatshirt/jumper• Black shoes or all black

smart trainers• Coat and school bag you

choose• PE kit green shorts/white

top/plimsolls or trainers

Shoes

• Have the correct shoes, so you look smart and can run and play at playtime.

• Don’t wear boots or shoe with different colours on them.

• If it is wet bring wear boots and bring your shoes to change into.

Hair

• Look smart no extreme hair styles, colours or patterns.

• If you have long hair it should be tied back.

No jewellery

• Only pain stud earrings which should be covered for PE.

• No necklaces, bracelets, hoop earnings

The uniform makes for brotherhood, since when universally adopted it covers up all differences of class and country.
