Tree Plantation Program
On the occasion of Birthday of Hon’ble Namdar Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil,
Pravara Rural Education Society’s, College of Pharmacy (For Women), Chincholi, Nashik
organized Tree plantation on 15th June 2018.
Yoga Day Celebration
Pravara Rural Education Society’s, College of Pharmacy (For Women) has
celebrated “4th International Yoga Day” on 21st June 2018 at Seminar hall, at College
campus, Chincholi at 10.30 am. Programme was inaugurated by the hands of Mrs.
Karnataki and Mrs. Nannaware in the gracious presence of Vice-Principal Prof. Dr C.J.
Bhangale. All the guests have lightened the lamp and worship the goddess sarswati. All
the guests were welcomed by the floral bouquet. Dr. C.J. Bhangale and Chief Guest Mrs
Kataria madam narrated the importance of yoga in the life and advised the students to
give some place to it in their life. Around 100 students along with the teaching and non-
teaching faculty were present on the occasion. A later student celebrated the yoga day
by performing varies yogasans with the direction given by instructor Mrs Nannaware.
She discussed importance of some Pranayam exercises such as suryanamaskar,
kapalbharti, Omkar, Mulbandh, Agnisar, anulom Vilom, omkar etc. Dr. C.J. Bhangale,
Vice-Principal of College of Pharmacy, Chincholi, and NSS program officer Mr. V.D.
Kunde interacted with the student about yoga exercise and explain student how yoga
helps to achieve control over the mind & flexibility of the body. Mrs. Sangita Bhangare

asked the students to do yoga exercise according to their problems related with body.
Miss kaveri Vaditake presented the Vote of thanks. All Teaching and non teaching staff
took efforts to made this event successful.

VAN MAHOSTAV 2018
PRES.s’, College of Pharmacy (For Women), Chincholi has celebrated “Van
Mahostav” on 09th July 2018. Dr. Sunil A Nirmal (Principal) and Dr. C. J. Bhangale (Vice-
Principal) was chief guest of this program. Our NSS volunteers Miss Rutuja Nalkar
guided the students how to plant the tree. On this occasion, Total 100 different plants
like Neem, Kashid, Karanj, Shisaw, Acacia and many more plants were planted in the
college premises. Plantation was performed by the hands of Principal Mrs. C. J.
Bhangale, Miss. Monisha and all the teaching and non Teaching staff members and
students of college. Dr. S.A. Nirmal explained the importance of tree plantation and
motivated the students to actively involved not only in plantation and but to look after
its survival. The entire Teaching faculty, Students of Second, Third, Final Year B.
Pharmacy, NSS volunteers were actively participated in this event.

Birth Anniversary of Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak
PRES’s, College of Pharmacy (For Women), Chincholi, Nashik celebrated the Birth
Anniversary of Lokmanya Tilak on 23rd July 2018. Lokmanya Tilak, born as Keshav
Ganghadhar Tilak, was an Indian nationalist, teacher, social reformer, and an
independence activist. He was the leader of the Indian Independence Movement. Dr.
K.T.V. Reddy, Campus Director, was the president for the function and expressed his
views on leadership and other characteristics of Lokmanya Tilak. Principal, Dr. S. A.
Nirmal delivered introductory speech. All the teaching faculties and students of college
were present. Student volunteer Ms. Ayesha Bootwala did anchoring for this function.
Student volunteer Ms. Nisha Pagar also delivered speech. Votes of thanks proposed by
student volunteer Ms. Kajal Vanhere. All the students actively participated in the
function.

Guru Purnima Celebration
On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima since time immoral to bring the
awakening of life, PRES’s, College of Pharmacy (For Women), Chincholi, Nashik
celebrated as gratitude and honor towards the teachers on 27th July 2018. Dr. K.T.V.
Reddy, Campus Director, was the guest for the function. The celebration started off with
lightening the auspicious lamp followed by introductory speech by Dr. S. A. Nirmal,
Principal. Then students offered gratitude to the vedic tradition, describing actual
history laying behind celebrating guru purnima. Then students offered beautiful gift as a
token of love and gratitude to all staff. Student volunteer Ms. Nisha Pagar did anchoring
for this function. Student volunteer Ms. Kajal Vanhere also delivered speech. All the
teaching, non-teaching faculties and students of college were present. Student had
arranged some snacks for staff. Student volunteer Ms. Swapnali Abhale delivered the
closing speech & everyone dispersed.
Tribute Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayeeji
PRES’s, College of Pharmacy (For Women), Chincholi, Nashik paid tribute to
Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayeeji on 17th August 2018. The photo of
Atal Bihari Vajpayeeji was garlanded by Dr. Sunil A. Nirmal, Principal. Mr Vivekanand A.
Kashid, enlightened the gathers about the work of Vajpayeeji. Student volunteer Ms.
Pooja Dholi also highlighted the memories of Vajpayeeji. All teaching and non-teaching
faculty were present on the occasion.

Padmashri Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil Birth Anniversary
PRES’s, College of Pharmacy (For Women), Chincholi, Nashik with Nashik
Technical Campus celebrated the 118th Birth Anniversary of the founder Padmashree,
Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil on, 24th August 2018 at SVIT Seminar Hall. The programme
commenced with the welcome address by Prof. K. P. Tambe, Asst Prof. SVIT, Nashik. It
was followed by the lamp lighting by Prof. U.V. Patil, Vice-Principal, SVIT; Prof Sanjeev
Patil, Principal, Architecture College; Dr. C.J. Bhangale, Vice-Principal, COPC. Prof. V.A.
Kashid then addressed the gathering and enlightened the students with life and
philosophy of Padmashree, Dr. Vithal Rao Vikhe Patil. He laid emphasis on values shown
by our revered founder. He gladly informed the students that in memory of Padmashree
Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil’s contribution towards farmers and to honor the their
fraternity, Government of Maharashtra through its Government Resolution (GR)
declared the birthday of Padmashree Vithalrao Vikhe-Patil as ‘Shetkari Din’ (Farmers’
day). The event concluded with National Anthem.

Orientation program 2018
P.R.E.S.’S College of Pharmacy (For Women), Chincholi, organized an orientation
program for newly admitted first year B. Pharm on 1st August 2018. Program was
started with Pratima Poojan by chief guest Dr. K. T. V. Reddy, Campus director and
Principal of SVIT Chincholi; alongwith Dr. V. D. Tambe, Principal of Diploma Pharmacy;
Mr. Sanjiv Patil, Principal of Architecture; Dr. Sunil Nirmal, Principal of P.R.E.S.’s College
of Pharmacy (For Women), Chincholi. Key note address was given by Dr. Sunil Nirmal,
he guided to students by giving brief view of pharmacy and different areas of pharmacy.
Followed by Dr. Charushila Bhangale introduced about the academic practices and new
syllabus of first year B. Pharmacy to students. She also introduced all subject staff to
parents and students. Prof. Vivekanand Kashid briefed on examination pattern and
mark distribution to new students. Prof. Vandana Barve explained students about
Training & Placement department. She also explained about the MOU’s of the different
companies and highlighted on different students placed in different sectors. Prof.
Ramdas Dolas gave brief information on different carrier opportunities in pharmacy. Dr.
Anagha Baviskar highlighted on the alumni status of our college. Prof. Kiran Kotade
guided on education loan systems of different banks for economically poor students.
Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff introduced themself. Dr. K.T.V. Reddy guided to
students on disciplines of campus, rules and regulations of students in college campus.
He also made students aware about their health and diet. He assured to students about
the safety. Campus director and principal felicitated to first three MH-CET rankers and
alumni Miss. Gite Suvarana who stood SNDT university topper and awarded with Prof.
M.L Khurana by SNDT University, Mumbai. Few parents shared their views about this
college and reasons to select this college. Miss Suvarana Gite expressed her experience
about the college, college facilities and college staff. Vote of thanks was proposed by
Prof. Kaveri Vaditake. Programme was concluded by Prof Kiran Dhamak with National
Anthem. All teaching and non teaching staffs had taken effort to make such event
successful and fruitful. Program ended with delicious lunch.

Freshers Day Celebration
Pravara Rural Education Society’s, College of Pharmacy (For Women), Nashik
organized the “Novato Fiesta 2018” program for first year B.Pharm and M.Pharm
students on 14th August 2018. The objective of this occasion was to introduce and
acquaint the new students with discipline of pharmacy, further it develops the horizon
and motivate students toward realization of herself for community health. The program
was inaugurated at the hands of Dr. S.A. Nirmal, Principal and Dr. C.J. Bhangale, Vice-
Principal by lighting lamp and Saraswati Pujan. Prof. Mrs. Kaveri Vaditake (Class
Incharge first year) welcomed the guest by floral bouquet. Principal Dr. S.A. Nirmal
guided and welcomed students in 'Pravara Family'. On this occasion first year students
had introduced themselves and showed extra talent as well. The students performed
many cultural activities such as mimicry, song and one act play. Some senior students of
college shared their experience about academy, cultural, sports etc. At the end of
program Ms Apurva D. Nikam from B-Pharm, was selected as Miss Fresher and then
felicitated by Crown. Ms Rutuja N. Sonawane was selected as Best Personality of the
Day. The occasion was well organized, managed and hard work of all second year
students. Presence of teaching and non teaching staff graced the occasion; program was
ended with vote of thanks and delicious lunch.

Independence Day
Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm. The celebration
started at 7:30 a.m with the hoisting of National Flag. To commemorate the sovereignty
of our nation, Dr. K.T.V. Reddy, Campus Director of Nashik Campus, unfurled the
tricolour flag and all in unison sang the National Anthem to pay homage to the nation.
The students sang the patriotic song, followed by parade ceremonies by college security
and presented many other cultural programmes. Campus Director delivered message on
the occasion and paying tribute to the freedom fighter and leaders of the Indian
independence movement who had sacrificed their lives. He said that the sovereignty
and integrity of the country should be maintained. The celebration ended with vote of
thanks. All the staff members were present at the occasion. Sweets were distributed at
the end of the programme.

Participation in Sports Event
Students of B. Pharmacy were actively participated in sports events carried out
by Nashik District Zonal Sports Committee, Nashik Zone sponsored by Sports and
Educational Department of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.
First event, Badminton was organized by Bytco College, Nashik on 17th August
2018.
Next event was Kho-Kho, which was organized by Arts and Commerce College,
Baragaon Pimpri, Nashik on 31st August 2018.

College Social Responsibility Cell Activity: Tree Plantation program
of Green Revolution
The PRES’s, College of Pharmacy (For Women), Chincholi, Nashik participated in
the tree plantation program of Green Revolution under College Social Responsibility
(CSR) Cell at Anand Kanan, Chunchale Tekadi, MIDC Ambad, Nashik on 1st July 2018.
The event was successfully carried out under the guidance of Dr. S.A. Nirmal, Principal
of COPC, Prof. V.A. Kashid and Dr. A.V. Baviskar, CSR Coordinator of COPC. Prof R.T.
Dolas, Prof. K.T. Vaditake, and Ms. Pushpa Pawar along with 60 students actively
participated in this event. This program was carried out in collaboration with Green
Revolution Team under the guidance of Dr. Sandeep Ahire.

Nature Trip
PRES’S College of Pharmacy (for women), Chincholi, organized the nature trip on
28th
August 2018 at Saputara Hill Station and Saptashrungi Garh. 110 students along
with 7 staff participated in this nature trip.
National Sports Day
National Sports Day celebrated on 29th August 2018 to mark the birth anniversary
of Legendary Hockey player Major Dhyan Chand. The sport secretory Pooja Dholi told
about importance of Sports and the relevance of National Sports Day. Prof R.T. Dolas
also guided during the session, and told the importance of health for the sport events.
On this occasion, all the students participated in various sports activities with great
enthusiasm and zeal. Sport Incharge, Prof. K B. Kotade also guided the students during
the same. The students were seen playing with true team spirit.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Swacch Bharat Mission runs by ministry of HRD in India. In this series once again
College of Pharmacy (For Women), Chincholi, Nashik celebrated Swachh Bharat
Abhiyan on 31st August 2018. Dr. S.A. Nirmal, Principal highlighted the vision of Hon’ble
Prime Minister of India about Swachh Bharat Mission. He also explained about Mahatma
Gandhiji’s dream of clean India. He also told cleanliness is required to live healthy, as
Cleanliness is equal to Godliness.

Dr. Anagha V. Baviskar
Dr. Anagha V. Baviskar, PRES’s, College of Pharmacy, Chincholi, Nashik has been
awarded Ph.D. degree in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences by Jawaharlal
Nehru Technological University Anantapur for her research work Entitled “Antifungal
Drug Delivery Based On Solid Lipid Nanoparticles For Skin Targeting”. She carried out
her research work under the guidance of Dr. S. N. Hiremath & Dr. N. Devanna. She has
more than 8.5 years of teaching and research experience.
