Corrotect® ZK (Zinc):Corrosion protection for parts with low requirements on corrosion protection, cost effective solution.
Corrotect® ZI (Zinc-Iron):Corrosion protection for medium to high requirements on corrosion protection.Comparably cost effective, easy to handle.
Corrotect® ZN (Zinc-Nickel):Corrosion protection for high and highest requirements on corrosion protection.Comparably expensive, shows no contact corrosion to Al alloys, poor macro throwability.
After treatments: Chromating / Passivating increases the corrosion resistance of the zinc(alloy) coating

Energy Efficiency – Triondur® DLC CoatingsSchaeffler coatings portfolio
Triondur® DLC coatings:
► Excellent friction reduction under mixed and boundary lubrication conditions.
► Only coating of the rollers is necessary.
► Coating thickness 2 µm no additional installation space.

Strain gage sensor concept• For strain measurement, a strain sensitive alloy is
deposited by advanced PVD (Physical-Vapour-Deposition) technique
• Local shaft strain measurement enables torque determination
• Measurement on shaft requires telemetry for data transmission to stand-still structure
