Chapter one Introduction

Z show graphic editing software is used to manage what is showing on led display screen. Itcan single and group transmit texts, graphics and videos.

2.2 brief introduction of the system functionThe software can edit video, graphic, clock, dial, time etc. The program you edit would be

sent to the controller, and then the screen would show it.

Chapter four System operating instructions

4.1 Set Communication parameter(1) Select “set”---”Communication parameter”(2)There are 3 communication ways

1、”Ethernet direct”: You PC and Z0 card will be communicated by a network cable only.2、”Ethernet”:Your PC need to communicate with Z0 card by its IP address and port No.3、”GPRS or Internet”: Your PC can communicate by connecting outer net.

1. ”Ethernet direct” communication:Ethernet direct communication is very simple, just choose it and click “next”

Select the PC direct IP address, some user may have two internet, drop down the list and

select the right one.

The delay time in the Advance Params is the longest time needed that PCand control card get connecting. If more than this time, it still cant get connection, then softwarewould report “communication failed”. “Frame length” means bytes length per frame data duringcommunication, it depends on different control card models, for Z0 control card, the frame lengthis 512.

If communication failed, then you need to change the TCP/IP protocol.

2.”Ethernet”communication:

This is the factory set IP address and port No. of the control card:

If it shows “communication failed” after you click “communication test”, First check if

your internet connected well or if the IP address and port No. was correctly set. If still not

successful, then need to change the TCP/IP address of your PC, follow the below photo to

do.Double click the logo in the right corner of your PC,

3. GPRS or Internet communicationInput the device ID which is a unique NO. of our product. it can be found on the controller.

4.2 Set the screen parametersAfter communication successful, you need start to set screen parameter, the operation almost

the same as X-show software.Click setting- screen parameters.

There are five steps to set the screen parameter:Step 1: select the control card type. (if the connection of the control card is right, PC can

recognize the right type. )Step 2: input the width and height according to size of the led display. (the max width is 1024,

the max height is 320)Step 3: select right unit plate type. If there is no type you need, add or modify the unite plate

type.Step 4: Set the advanced parameter according your need.(generally choose the default)Step 5: Click “sure”.Then, the screen parameter is set successfully.

4.3 Configure the unit plate typeHow to configure the unit plate type, now take 64*64 unit plate as a example.Click “setting”- screen parameter.

a. Color:Make selection according to the features of led display screen

b. Width and height:Make selection according to the features of unit plate type.

And then “date page” would pop up.

When choose full light, the screen shows full black. When choose full black, the screen

shows full light. If this problem happens, then choose

Make color selection according to your led module. For example, click color 1, if the screenis green, choose green on the pull-down menu.

Click “next”, “scanning way” would pop up.Step 7: scanning way(1)When you enter scan mode, your led screen would show as following photo: there is a dot

flickering (Here the module is P4 full color, 64*32, take it as example here)Note: Always just watch the firs pcs module on the right top corner on full screen board. As thebelow photo the red square.

(2)Look at the marked module, from left to right, each lamp on the module corresponding toone grid on the software (see the below photo) The flickered dot start from the 8th column, so youneed to click No.8 in the software, then continue to click the grids according to the movingflickered dot till finish.

Step 8: completeClick “Complete” and give a name to it and save.

4.4 Operation instruction

4.4.1 video functionClick “video” in toolbar, or click “Insert”---”video” in menu bar. Add the video you want to

show.

4.4.2 Subtitle functionClick “subtitle” in toolbar, or click “Insert”---”subtitle” in menu bar.

Display attribute:Screen mode on: choose the mode that the subtitle appears.Speed: adjust the speed of the words appearing.Residence time: set the stop time.

4.4.3 Graphic function

Click “graphic” in toolbar, or click “Insert”---”graphic” in menu bar.

5. Add EXCEL: click , choose a EXCE from PC. This EXCEL is used, no editing.

4.4.4 clock functionClick “clock” in toolbar, or click “Insert”---”clock” in menu bar.

Clock attribute(1) single show: date, week, and time are showed in one low.

Line show: date, week, and time are showed in different lows.(2) The colors of the date, week, and time can be set.(3) Spacing: when choose line show, the space between two lines can be set.

Fixed text:

Choose “using a fixed text” can add more information on the clock area.And the color of the text can be set.

Time:The “time” here is jet lag. Set the time according the local time.

Font:Set the font of the words in the clock.

4.4.5 dial function

Click “dial” in toolbar, or click “Insert”---”dial” in menu bar.

Jet lag:Set the time according to the local time.

(1) choose “using a fixed text”, add the words in the box, and adjust the font, size and the color.(2) mark 3: adjust the position of the text.

4.4.6 Time function

Click “time” in toolbar, or click “Insert”---”time” in menu bar.

Target time: modify the right time.

Timing: take the target time as starting time

Countdown: take the target time as ending timeDisplay forma:

Time precision(day, time, minute, second): the system would convert the displaytime automatically.

Color: set the digital color and unit color.

Fixed text:

(1) choose “using a fixed text”, add the words in the box, and adjust the font, size and theColor.

(2) choose “wrap”, the text would be showed in different lines.

4.4.7 Timing function

Click “timing” in toolbar, or click “Insert”---”timing” in menu bar.

System time:

Click “system time ”, the time on the software would keep the same as PC.

Click “send”, the time on the screen would be the current time.

Of course, the time can be set manually.

4.4.8 Adjust brightness

Click “brightness” in toolbar.

Two methods can be chose, automatic induction and manually adjusted.

4.4.9 Time switch.

Click “time switch” in toolbar.

Mark 1: click “the tail”and “Guanbing”, the screen would open and close automatically.Time switch:

Choose “time switch”, the time of opening and closing the screen can be set. At last, click“sends”.

4.4.10 Preview and send

Click “preview” or “send” in toolbar.

Preview: before sending the program to the screen, click “preview” to watch the effect on thesoftware.

Send: sent the program to the screen when all the connection is ok.

4.4.11 USB function

When there’s no network or need a USB to transmit information, plug USB to PC, then click“USB” in toolbar.

Set the parameter you need, and then click import USB.

4.5 File men

Click file.

1. Click “new project”, make a new project.2. Click “open”, open the project you need.3. Click “save”, save the current project to the default file.4. Click “save as”, save the current project to the specified folder.5. Click “export” and “import”, export and import project.6. Click “exit”, close the software.

4.6 Language selection

Click language in toolbar.

Before change the language, make sure the system has installed the target language package. If notinstall, the system would show gibberish.

Chapter five Questions and answers

1. Q: the software cant be opened.A: The shortcut is invalid, install the software again.

2. Q: function icons is different from the actual function.A: increase the PC resolution.

3. Q: the software shows gibberish.

A: click language in toolbar, select “automatically”.4. Q: the content of the virtual screen is incomplete.

A: click on the virtual screen. This is original size.

5. Q: communication failed.A: make sure the communication type is right.

6. Q: send failed.A: check the cable or the USB connection. Increase the communication delay.

7. Q: send success, but cant show on the screen.A: make sure the size of the virtual screen is the same as the actual screen and the the display area

has the content.Make sure the transparency is not 0.

8. Q: the effect of the display is not so good.A: set the advanced parameter of screen again.

9. Q: the brightness is low.A: set the brightness again.

10. Q: led display open and close at regular timeA: make sure set the time switch or not.

11. Q: a program is not played completely.A: make sure set the time length or not.

12. Q: the clock time is wrong.A: timing again.
