Thanks for Downloading!! I hope you find my March Kindergarten homework packet useful for your students. Each activity aligns with the Kindergarten common core standards. The children will complete every activity in each packet. I have also added a simple reading log. The children will need a pencil, crayons or markers, scissors and glue to complete their weekly homework. The cover page for each week explains the activity and the CCSS. I will be creating homework packets for each month using this format. I have done my best to include or use greyscale images as much as possible to save on color ink usage. Please feel free to email me at Nancy@JoyofKindergarten.com if you have a comment or suggestion for improving this packet. Please do not redistribute the clip art from this packet in any other format. This packet is designed for a single classroom of students. The activities, and format are my own design. In addition to the items I have on TPT, and TN, I create and draw personalized avatars. I also do blog makeovers and designs. If you are interested in more information about this please visit my blog. www.JoyofKindergarten.com Click on the tab titled Uniquely Yours Avatars and Blogs.

Kindergarteners are all at varying stages in their writing. One strategy is to have your child write the beginning letter sound, then draw a line, then write the ending letter sound. After doing this go back and try to fill in the missing sound on the line. Work together with your child to sound out each word.
