HOW TO MAKE CHRISTMAS SUGAR COOKIES.

INGREDIANTS2 cups all-purpose flour3/4 cup all-purpose flour for flouring the counter1/2 teaspoons of salt1 1/2 sticks of butter3 cups of sugar1 egg1 1/2 teaspoons of vanill

Combine the flour and salt in a small bowl. Mix with the whisk then set it aside.

IN A LARGE BOWL, ADD THE BUTTER AND SUGAR. USE A FORK TO CREAM THE BUTTER AND SUGAR. THIS PROCESS IS CALLED CREAMING.

AFTER CREAMING, ADD YOUR VANILLA AND EGG UNTIL ITS WELL COMBINED.

THEN ADD THE FLOUR MIXTURE WHILE STIRRING THE BUTTER, SUGAR, VANILLA AND EGG MIXTURE UNTIL IT FORMED A DOUGH. DON'T OVER MIX.

DIVIDE THE DOUGH IN HALF. COVER EACH PORTION OF THE DOUGH IN PLASTIC WRAP AND LET IT COOL FOR AN HOUR TO AVOID HAVING A HARD TIME MAKING SHAPES AND KNEADING THE DOUGH

PREHEAT THE OVEN TO 350 F AND LINE THE COOKIE SHEET WITH PARCHMENT PAPER OR SILICON COOKIE MAT TO PREVENT THE COOKIE FROM STICKING.

SPRINKLE THE REMAINING 3/4 CUPS OF FLOUR ON AN OPEN SPACE OR THE COUNTER TOP.

USE A ROLLING PIN TO ROLL THE DOUGH TO A 1⁄8 INCH THICKNESS.

USE A COOKIE CUTTER TO MAKE COOL SHAPES FOR THE COOKIE.

Roll your scraps together and re-roll for more

PLACE YOUR COOKIES TO THE COOKIE SHEET LINED WITH PARCHMENT PAPER OR A SILICON MAT AND LEAVE A 1 INCH SPACE BESIDE EACH COOKIE.

PLACE THE COOKIES IN THE OVEN FOR 8-10 MINS OR THE COLOR IS SLIGHTLY GOLDEN BROWN.

AFTER BAKING, MOVE THE COOKIES TO A PLATE OR BAKING RACK TO COOL COMPLETELY.

SPREAD ON A LAYER OF FROSTING AND DECORATE WITH SPRINKLES.

It will make about 25 cookies, depending on the size cookie cutters that you have used.
