The effects of social interaction to productivity at work

Social interaction is a complex process and we found it interesting that humans respond more quickly in groups but that more complex acts are hindered.

to emphasize on the importance of teamwork towards the productivity of an organization.

to find the negative effects of the lack of social interaction among team members in an organization.

to prove how teamwork will increase employees productivity.

In this study, we gathered statistics about the effects of teamwork to the employee productivity. However, our research did not cover the causes of social interaction in workplace and limited in staff’s UTeM. We have constraint timing to do this research to other staffs from different university. We really hope that this research can be continued by other students.

ORGANIZATION 

We have decided to choose questionnaire method to conduct our research.

In our research, we spread questionnaire to 20 respondents namely lecturer of Faculty of Information and Communication Technology.

We choose this method because the responses are gathered in a standardized way, so questionnaires are more objective, certainly more so than interviews..

0 = Not at all • 1 = A little bit• 2 = Normal • 3 = Very much• 4 = Extremely

5- Very easy 4- Easy 3- average 2- hard 1- Very hard

Interactions among members of the same family (same workplace) receive the greatest attention A good interaction will produce a good product and a good product will give a lot of benefit to workplace (UTeM).

What we can conclude here according to the title report “The Effect Of Social Interaction to Productivity at Work” is UTeM workers have a good social interaction among of them and they can increase their productivity by active by joining the workers club and so on.
