Example: Service Tax Compliances

Service Tax• Business Killer: The Harsh Service Tax Provisions are proving to be a business killer , not just for Hotel Industry but for all kinds of service Industry (if the Service Tax laws are not properly followed.

• Adverse affect on Profitability : Current Service Tax Rate is 12.36 % , some times it goes to 20 % including interest and penalty. So if the service tax provisions are not followed the profitability may get a hit by 20% !!

•Non Bailable Warrant : Now a days a Non bailable warrant may be issued against service tax defaulters and the defaulters may face arrest for minimum 3 three days.
