say go?We recognized that traditional communication channels were not going to be enough to build and connect the IPE community that we knew existed.

• Start now, embrace the BIG ideas and be inclusive.

For example: In the beginning our content sharing was strictly about IPE. Our traction was very low.

We restrategized around providing content and interactions based on general health care topics with an IPE spin.

This improved things immensely!

It’s About (other) People

• It’s not about you. It’s about the people who populate the social media networks.

• It’s about the people and organizations in your community.

• Organizations are made up of people. Their views and contributions are valuable.

• Take the time to participate in conferences and meet-ups as a way to validate and develop relationships.
