Camp Rotary Facts• Located on the beautiful shores of Grand Lake, NB

• Owned and operated by the Rotary Club of Fredericton.

• Staffing and programming provided by Easter Seals NB.

• First summer camp was in 1952 with 18 campers.

• Annual 2013 operating budget was approx. $65,000 funded through fundraising in our club along with the very generous support provided by several of the Rotary Clubs in the District each year.

Camp Rotary Facts• Twenty-one buildings on site with six “adopted” by various Rotary

Clubs.

• Other Rotary clubs offer support through individual camper sponsorship and donations to general operating fund.

• • Four hundred and thirty six (436) campers attended Camp Rotary this

summer.

• Forty three (43) Camp Counselors and staff were hired by Easter Seals.

• Cost per camper this year is $900.00

Accomplishments 2013

• Designed and built new entrance to the tunnel• Installed a new floor in the kitchen• Installed rail slats on the ramp rails • Built a new ramp at Sunnyside cabin• Purchased a new ride on lawn mover• Installed A new lift pump for septic system ;

pumped all the septic tanks• Installed fire suppression system over the stove

Accomplishments 2013

• Inspected and repaired as necessary all emergency exit lights

• Hired a new maintenance manager• Contracted a new insurance provider• Updated agreement with Easter Seals• Completed all spring cleanup needs• Established a new format for the Camp Committee
