Addressing at least one of the sub-objectives below

i) Pilots on personalised and mobile public services• Innovative use of open data for new, smart and mobile public

services• Using open services and enabling any actors to co-produce

personalised, pro-active public services

ii) Pilots on transparency of public administrations• Benefitting from open data, tools to increase the transparency impact

of ICT-based technology platforms of the public sector

Multi-disciplinary network to identify potential applications for their successful implementation in the public sector

Stimulating the creation, delivery and use of new, personalised public services, reducing the administrative burden of citizens and businesses and increased transparency of and trust in public administrations

SC6 – Young generation in an innovative, inclusive and sustainable Europe (YOUNG-5b)

Societal and political engagement of young people and their perspectives on Europe(2014)

Increased engagement of the young in public administrations' activities and decision-making processes, increased trust and interest in political activities. Reusable components shall enable public authorities to quickly offer tools to engage citizens in the decision-making processes.

Innovation Action (CP 70%)

2014: EUR 5 million

Developing reusable service components, methods and applications to enable public authorities to quickly open their decision-making processes in order to engage with young people, allowing them to become active actors in all activities of the public sector.

SC6 - Overcoming the Crisis (EURO-6)

Meeting new societal needs by using emerging technologies in the public sector (2015) - 1

a) Research & Innovation Action (CP 100%)

Introducing emerging technologies in the public sector to improve efficiency, effectiveness and quality of public services and enable research results to reach a potential market

b) Coordination and Support Action (CSA 100%)

Multidisciplinary network to identify emerging technologies and potential applications for their implementation in the public sector and outline a roadmap for emerging research directions.

Exploring the potential benefit of using emerging ICT technologies in support of public sector innovation and opening up new markets for ICT solutions across the EU.

Supporting innovative SMEs, including start-ups for:•Design and creation of innovative applications (eGov apps)•Coupling open public data and services with information and services offered by the private sector •Innovative, user-friendly and personalised services that can be accessed easily•Fostering the delivery of mobile public services •Helping the interaction of citizens and businesses with public administrations
