HOW-TO CREATE A SHIPMENT USING

AVN

•Launch www.avnbiz.co.in and click on the ‘Sign In’ link on the top right corner of the window.

•Enter your AVN username and password in the respective fields.

• Once you login, you will see a dashboard. To schedule a consignment or to manage pick-up addresses, you have to click on the “CONSIGNMENT” tab which is found at the top panel.

What are you looking for?

•In the drop-down that appears, select the ‘Pickup Address Management’ option.

MANAGE PICK-UP ADDRESSES

•The addresses(if you have registered any) appear on this page.

•To add a new address, click on the ‘Add New’ button as shown below.

•Enter a unique ‘Pickup name’ which helps you to identify this particular address, so that it is easy for you to select when you are scheduling a pick up.

•Also enter the contact person’s name and number for this particular address.

•Enter the details of the pick up address in the respective fields and click on the ‘Submit’ button.

•The added address will appear on your dashboard.

•You can edit or de-activate any particular address by clicking on the respective buttons under the ‘Action’ column.

In the drop-down that appears, select the ‘Manage Consignment” option.

SINGLE ORDER PICK-UP

• To schedule a pick-up for a single order, click on the ‘Add New’ button as shown below.

• Once you click on the Add New button, you will be redirected to a page where you have to fill in all the details regarding the consignment. You can choose an existing address or type a new address for the pick-up.

• If you choose to add a new pick-up address, you will have to type out the detailed address and the order number in the respective fields.

• If you choose an existing address, the address details will be filled in automatically. Enter the order number.

• Add the details for delivery in the respective section. Please fill in all the sections and make sure you give the address as it is in the invoice.

• Select the date on which you want the pick-up to happen.

• Select the number of packages for that particular order.

•Select if the packages are identical or not.•If yes, please select the approx. weight per package.•Mention the dimensions of each package.

• If the packages are not identical, click no.• Enter the approx. dimensions and weight for each product separately, along with the quantity and value.

• Select the service package according to the type of your consignment.

Priority – Non COD order whose value is below Rs 5000(Fed-Ex).Standard – COD orders or orders of value above Rs 5000(Fed-Ex).Regular – All orders through GATI.Economy – Surface shipping(Fed-Ex).

• Select the Package Content as “Product/Commodities”. Give a brief description of what the package contains. Select the Payment Mode through which your payment is received from the customer for that particular order.

• Enter the value of the invoice and delivery charges applicable.

• Please select if you need insurance for your consignment.

• If you have selected ‘yes’ for insurance, the amount is calculated automatically according to the total value of the invoice.

• The other fees are also calculated automatically according to the type of package and shipping you have selected.

• Click on the ‘Submit’ button.

• In the drop-down that appears, select the ‘Manage Consignment” option.

BULK ORDER PICK-UP

• To download the excel sheet for bulk upload, click on the ‘Download Consignment Sample Excel’ button as shown below.

• The excel sheet will have 33 columns to be filled in for each package. Please take care in filling it properly and do not leave any required field blank.

• The excel sheet will be similar to the one shown below.

• To schedule a pick-up for orders in bulk, click on the ‘Add Bulk’ button as shown below.

• Choose the filled in excel sheet and upload it using the ‘Submit’ button.

• The excel sheet will appear on the dashboard, once it is successfully uploaded.

• You can download this excel sheet by clicking on ‘Excel’ under ‘Action’ as shown below.

• After you schedule your pick-up, you will be able to see the recent activity on the dashboard, under ‘Notifications’.• Click on any of the notifications to get details of that particular consignment.

• In the consignment management page, you have an option to choose the partner(according to the type of your package).

• Click on ‘Partner Search’ and a pop up will appear, with the respective charges. Click on ‘Choose’ button.

•Click on ‘View Details’ to see the order details.•To print the shipping labels, individually for each package, click on ‘Shipping Label 1’, ‘Shipping Label ’, etc.•To print the shipping label for the whole consignment, click on ‘Master Shipping Label’

•After the consignment has been picked up, you can track the status of it by clicking on ‘Track’ button.
