Charger Station Assembly

Mounting substrate

In our application we attached 24’ of 2x12 to the wall

Paint the substrate flat black

One coat of Rustoleum oil based flat black

Layout

After mounting the board, measure out where pallets will be placed for charging

I attached angle iron to my 10”x10” corner brace brackets

Here I used a pop rivet to attach the assembly. You can use self tappers or nut and bolt also.

I centered our chargers in the 18” isle ways I laid out. I used a scrap board to help with my spacing

Mounting top bracket

Set charger in place and set 4” angle bracket on top. Scribe it’s location and remove.

Attach 4” angle to wall where you scribed.

Attach top bracket to charger

Attach bracket with two ½” self tappers

Charger securely attached

Install cpvc piping

I installed two rows of ½” cpvc. I spaced the mounts every 18”

I installed a ½” dowel in the pipe to help resist sagging

I used 34 hangers

Install junction boxes

Install with 2 fasteners inside the box as well as the four exterior tabs
