The station can charge the camera battery and a spare battery simultaneously. Separate LED indicators provide feedback to the user on the current charge condition. Spare batteries latch into the unit in the same way that they are attached to the camera. The camera latches automatically into the unit but is easily removed using the front mounted ejection button. The charging station also allows a PC to be connected to the camera via a standard USB connection, allowing captured images and video data to be downloaded. Up to six charger stations can also be daisy-chained together via front mounted connectors accessible via a removable cover. The unit is suitable for use on 12V or 24V vehicle systems. The charger stations can also be daisy-chained together (maximum of 6 units).
