London for young working men, Sir George
Williams (at age 23) started the YMCA in
1844 in London. After 168 years, YMCA
movement has been established in more
than 120 countries..
Founded in 1902, YMCA of Singapore is a
Christian organisation, affiliated worldwide.
Continues to be relevant in meeting needs.

• Critical areas to keep warm: Head, neck and hands.

• Insulation layer: Wool is natural, durable and keeps warm even when wet. Fleece is lighter, dries faster, insulates while wet.
• Outershell: Water-proof and breathable outer layers help to sustain protection from wind and precipitation. Waterproof gloves and headgear.
