Warthogs tend to be rather shy and hide from people but we saw many while we were at the park. Here is one soaking in a mud bath behind a bush.

These guys went hurrying to hide in the bushes as soon as we spotted them.

We drove up past the lake to get to the hotel where we were staying.

These warthogs apparently weren’t all that afraid of people as they were happily laying in the shade resting in the yard not far from our rooms.

After we were inside our room, a group of warthogs came and were grazing right outside our window underneath the laundry that was hung out to dry by the hotel staff.

After a short rest at the hotel we went out for a game drive that evening. I took quite a few pictures of the African landscape and the beautiful clouds. We drove around for a while before finding some animals.
