National Summary...Friday will be a pleasant day for Many across the Midlands, Eastern England and Southern England. It will feel warm in the sun with temperatures hitting 10 or 11c though perhaps feeling more like 16c when there is no wind.

Elsewhere it will be a cloudy day with some patchy rain in the west, though perhaps some sleet or snow over the Scottish Highlands. Here it will feel cooler but it will be milder than recent days.

Saturday will be a dull day for many though some brief sunny spells are still likely in Central and Southern England. It will be mild again and warm in the sunshine. 13c seems likely to be the maximum temperature in the milder Central and Southern England.

Sunday sees the return of a wintry mix to the North. There will be some rain in the south though some rain, hail, sleet or snow showers may be present around the coasts of Scotland. It will turn slightly cooler again though nothing significantly cold.
