It intends to show how life would be in town at the time the city was part of the Roman Empire, evoking their daily lives as the capital city of the province of Galicia. 12. In these festivities a roman market is recreated: circus arts, drama, war simulations, mythological personifications, juggling, musical performances and dances from the time of Bracara Augusta. 13. The festivities also include two Romans Parades through the streets of the historic city center, at day and night. 14. Roman Braga Welcome to 15. In Roman-Braga, we celebrate the time when the Romans were in BRACARA Augusta (now Braga). It's not always celebrated in the same week of the year. 25. S. Joo is a portuguese traditional saint. His day is celebrated on June 24th . 26. This is the traditional plant in this festivity: the basil. It provides good luck!!!!! 27. This is a hot air balloon. They are lighted up at night. It is beautiful and interesting. 28. This is the traditional food. The sardine is very delicious and healthy. 29. In S. Joo Day there is a big parade with children. It is very funny! 30.
