event that takes place annually in Braga in May or June since 2003.
It intends to show how life would be in town at the time the city
was part of the Roman Empire, evoking their daily lives as the
capital city of the province of Galicia. 12. In these festivities a
roman market is recreated: circus arts, drama, war simulations,
mythological personifications, juggling, musical performances and
dances from the time of Bracara Augusta. 13. The festivities also
include two Romans Parades through the streets of the historic city

St. John is a saint celebrated in Portugal , more specifically in
the north. We dance and have a lot of fun in the streets. The plant

celebrate the time when the Romans were in BRACARA Augusta (now
Braga). It's not always celebrated in the same week of the year.
