Cultural & Tapas Tour in Barcelona

Savour and indulge with us in some of our favourite foodie haunts as we visit historic Barcelona. Stroll along the historic streets of the city with a knowledgeable guide while tasting Spanish wines and Spain's culinary treasures.

We will visit (if possible) the famous market of La Boqueria, the best one in Barcelona and for sure one of the most important markets in Spain. We will enjoy its activity, the variety of products, contrasts of colours, aromas… a perfect start to understand why the Spanish gastronomy is so well internationally known.

Afterwards, we will be led to Barcelona's most famous street, Las Ramblas. It is the most popular place in the city, a straight pedestrian thoroughfare, planted with plane trees and crossed day and night by a constant stream of passers-by. The atmosphere here is singular.Off we go to the gothic quarter, where we will discover architecture, language and gastronomy that are unique in Spain... and some of the gourmet shops over 100 years old.Spanish gastronomy is very diverse and we want to show you some of our finest representatives in tapas.

You can visit 3 different restaurants and a stop for dessert:

Spanish traditional Tapas: Here you can taste authentic homemade traditional tapas cooked at the moment.

Creative traditional tapas: Tapas that have recovered the gastronomic tradition of the old warehouses as previously present in towns and neighborhoods of cities but with a new touch and new approach.

Basque tapas: Cider houses and taverns are and have always been a cultural legacy in the Basque Country, where bite-sized foods -or pintxos- were also served to lower the excesses caused by drinking.

If you do 3 bars you might want to substitute one of the bars with a stop for dessert.

Program includes: Gourmet walking tour with a specialist guide in gastronomy for every 20 people in English,

Spanish, Italian or French (please ask for other languages).

Did you know that Barcelona has a chocolate tradition that started in 1772? Spanish people are sweet lovers and this is why we have a great range of sweets, chocolates, pastries and desserts that we can have any time during the day, either with a cup of coffee or tea, a sweet wine or just by themselves.
