The luxury train VITOSHA EXPRESS was built in 1975 in “Bautzen and Goerlitz” plants, East Germany. After its delivery to Bulgaria, VITOSHA EXPRESS was allocated to cater for the traveling of the political figures along with the accompanying persons.

Ten specialized cars with a contemporary design provide to the privileged passengers comfort and high-quality service for the journeys.

The train includes two luxury sleeping cars designed with a lounge which could accommodate ten passengers.

Two apartment type coaches and comfortable fully equipped kitchen lounge are also attached to the luxury train.

The main apartment and the two sleeping compartments designed for different couples of passengers have an up-to-date lavatory and WC.

The train composition VITOSHA EXPRESS has a coach with an extra special apartment with built-in bath and lavatory.

There is a double sleeping compartment next to the apartment.

VITOSHA EXPRESS is remarkable for its up-to-date restaurant-car with 36 seats. The kitchen offers a variety dishes to satisfy the most exquisite tastes of the gourmand passengers.

A special platform-wagon for transport of automobiles is attached to the train set.

In order to satisfy the passengers’ requirements the luxury composition has a communication system including a special communication - car ensuring connection with public telephone numbers.

The train has autonomous energy supply, air conditioning system, audio- and video-technical equipment.

VITOSHA EXPRESS can run along the European routes with maximum 160 km/h.
