• Built in 14th century by Rao Jodha, the fort represents royal Rathore culture. It is 125 feet high and is entirely carved out of stone.
• In its history of 554 years, it has been occupied only 5 times, including once by Mughal emperor, Humayun. Each ruler has left his mark in its architectural splendour!
• Today, it represents a museum which showcases relics of Rathore era such as old frescos paintings, musical instruments, furniture, canons and so on.
