What is the Texas STaR Chart

STaR is the acronym for School and Technology and Readiness.

The STaR Chart is designed to help:• Teachers

• Campuses

• Districts

The STaR Chart measures campus progress toward meeting the Texas Long-Range Plan for Technology goals.

What is the Texas STaR Chart

A tool designed for the use in:

• Technology Planning

• Budgeting for resources

• Evaluation of progress in local technology projects

Why?

All applications for state funded technology grants require a completed campus star chart profile showing current status and campus progress.
