Hue and Hoi An are two of the best places in the country to experience the traditions, culture and
rhythms of Vietnam. This short trip designed for whom wish to discover fascinating Hue and Hoi An -
two world heritages with all the highlights including ancient mausoleums, the enigmatic Citadel, My
Son Sanctuary and local people life in rural areas.
TOUR PROGRAM Day 1: Hue Arrival
Fly into Hue from Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh city. Meet upon arrival and transfer to your hotel for check
in. A cyclo tour inside ancient city to experience local people life and visit Dong Ba Market. Evening,
enjoy a royal dinner at garden restaurant. Overnight in Hue (D).
Day 2: Hue Morning visit Imperial Citadel with many well-preserved royal monuments in Hue and the most
famous Tu Duc’s tomb. Afternoon embark on a boat trip up the river to Thien Mu Pagoda, built on a
hill in 1601 by Prince Nguyen Hoang. Visit the pagoda and continue the boat trip to Thuy Bieu village
which is known for its fresh grapefruit, bike ride or walk in the village to experience local life. Late
afternoon, enjoy herbal foot bath and home hosted dinner at a local family. Then transfer back to
hotel in town. Overnight in Hue (B, D).
Day 3: Hue – Tam Giang Lagoon- Hoi An
Morning take a 1 hour drive to the Tam Giang Lagoon. Arrive at the guesthouse of the village. Cruise
on the stunning lagoon and meet with the fishermen to learn more about traditional fishing
techniques such as how to cast nets and traps. Help raise a fishing trap and take the day’s catch back
to the guesthouse for lunch. Have the opportunity to take photograph of numerous unique scenes.
Then drive to Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An (B, D).
Day 4: Hoi An – My Son
Morning enjoy a cyclo trip to explore Hoi An ancient town with its restored 18th century merchants'
houses. Afternoon drive to visit My Son, the Holly land of Champa kingdom, My Son also had been
recognized to be Culture World Heritage in 2000. Here, located in a lush green valley, are dozens of
red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the 7th and 13th centuries. Overnight in Hoi
An (B).
Day 5: Hoi An- Cooking class
Begin with interesting half day learning about Vietnamese food and the Hoi An way of life. A guided
tour of Hoi An’s colorful central market, followed by an interesting and informative tour of The
Market Restaurant watching live cooking demonstrations with many food tastings. 2 hour hands on
in-depth cooking class, lunch, recipes and Vietnamese cooking utensil to take home. Afternoon you
are free at leisure. Relax on the private beach or by the resort pool or perhaps rent a bicycle to ride
into Hoi An rural area to discover local people life. Overnight in Hoi An (B, L).
Day 6: Hoi An–Departure At leisure until transfer to Da Nang Airport for flight to Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh for connecting your
departure flight home or to next destination.
