Syunik is a green but mountainous area. The high-water major rivers are the Meghri, Voghdji, and Vorotan. Summertime temperatures can reach more than 40 °C, although the average temperature is around 22 °C. Its border with Nakhchivan to the west is defined by the Zangezur Mountains.

SyunikՍյունիք

Goris is a town in the southern Syunik Province of Armenia. Located in the valley of river Goris or Vararak, it is 254 km away from the Armenian capital Yerevan and 67 km from the provincial centre Kapan. Goris is the 2nd largest city in Syunik province.

Գտնվում է Գորիս կամ Վարարակ գետի հովտում , Հայաստանի մայրաքաղաք Երևանից 254կմ և մարզկենտրոն Կապանից 67 կմ հեռավորության վրա : Գորիսը երկրորդ մեծ քաղաքն է Սյունիքի մարզում:

GorisԳորիս

Khndzoresk  is a village and rural community in the South-East of Armenia, in the province of Syunik. The village is located to the right of Goris. Crossing the bridge at the entrance of the village, the road continues towards the towns of Lachin and Stepanakert.

Խնձորեսկը գյուղ է և գյուղական համայնք է Հայաստանի հարավ -արևելքում, Սյունիքի մարզում: Գյուղը հիմնադրվել է Գորիսի աջ կողմում: Անցնելով գյուղի կողքի կամուրջը ճանապարհը շարունակվում է դեպի Լաչին և Ստեփանակերտ քաղաքը:
