Are you someone who loves the great outdoors? Are you looking for an adventure on
the wild side? Today, South African Tourism, in conjunction with National Geographic
Channel, launches their search for an American representative to become a part of a
Global Adventure Tribe.
Outdoor-types from across the US have the chance to win a 7 day trip of a lifetime,
following an action-packed itinerary including activities such as trekking, surfing,
wildlife tracking, canoeing, quad biking, bush walking, safari, bungee jumping,
paragliding, diving and hot air ballooning.
This exciting competition will be running independently in seven countries across the
globe, with the individual winners coming together to form an Adventure Tribe who will
explore South Africa and share their adventure with the rest of the world.
The competition will highlight some of the more active pursuits that are available in
South Africa to travellers looking for anything from gentle walking or cycling to pushing
themselves to the limits with some of the most challenging adventures in the World.
The winners will have the opportunity to share their experiences via multi-media
platforms during and after their trip.
Did you know? South Africa is home to:
- The World’s highest commercially operated bungee jump – Bloukrans Bridge,
Tsitsikamma
- The World’s highest commercially operated abseil - Table Mountain

to anyone who achieves a hole in one
Entrants are asked to submit up to 250 words, plus a photo, explaining why they
should have the opportunity to become an Adventure Ambassador for South Africa.
Entries can be made via the website: www.adventuresouthafrica.net/us.
Competition entrants do not need to have visited South Africa before, they just need a
passion for travel and adventure and a desire to share their experiences with the rest
of the US. Please see website for full terms and conditions:
