Question: Define your region with a short explanation(5 Lines)The name Mumbai is derived from Mumba or Maha-Amba—the name of the kolui goddess Mumbadevi—and Aai, "mother" in Marathi – the language of the mumbaikar. Mumbai has a tropical climate, specifically a tropical wet and dry climate,with seven months of dryness and heavy rains in July. Mumbai consists of two distinct regions: Mumbai City District and Mumbai Suburban District, which form two separate revenue districts of Maharashtra.

•The Western Suburbs is the western precinct of the city of Mumbai, India.• Our school VIBGYOR High is situated at Goregoan, one of the western suburbs of Mumbai.

• It is primarily a residential area with 3 railway lines, bus depots and two important highways western and eastern. Being a linear city east and west is the east of and the west of the railway line. • Goregaon is an upcoming suburb of Mumbai which is a balanced mixture of malls and multiplexes and a fast developing residential area with some offices and markets around.
