• Raja Ampat has 2 species of birds of paradise (Red Bird of Paradise and Wilson’s Bird of Paradise) and lots of others species of terrestrial life. We offer you Raja Ampat Birding Tour for you who love nature and would like to explore further the nature of Raja Ampat.

• In this 5D4N tour, you will explore the natural habitat of 2 species of birds paradise. You will stay for four nights at a compfotable local homestay.

Itinerary : Day - 1

• We will pick you up at Waisaia Raja Ampat Airport – drop to Resort or Homestay. You may arrive in Raja Ampat Airport from Manado at 09.55 am by Wings Air/Lion Group. Birding in the afternoon – Target birds are Red Bird of Paradise, Common Paradise Kingfisher, Cockatoos, etc. (LD) Assuming your flight arrives at Marinda Airport (RJM) from Manado at 09.55 WIT.

Itinerary : Day - 2

• Early in the morning at 05.00 am, you are going to visit Wilson’s Bird of Paradise site. You must do trekking to the bird watching site – the trekking condition is moderate. At about 10.00 am, return to homestay/resort. In the afternoon, at 03.00 pm, you are going to re-visit to the Red Bird of Paradise site. The target birds are Wilson’s and Red Birds of Paradise. Other birds you can find along the way are parrots, raptor, etc.

Itinerary : Day - 3

• After breakfast, you are going to Birding on boat (GAM Island). The target birds are raptor, wader/shore birds, Kingfisher, etc. (BLD) Note: In case, you want to re-visit birds of paradise sites, you can do early in the morning at 05.00 am before you are going to Gam Island. Stay at the homestay on Gam Islands.

Itinerary : Day - 4

• After breakfast, Explore Gam Islands/Mangrove forest. In the afternoon return to Waisai. Overnight in Waisai (resort/homestay). (BLD) Optional: If you want to do night birding, the target birds are frogmouths (Papuan Frogmouth and Marble Frogmouth), Papuan Bobook, and Hook-billed Kingfisher.

• After breakfast, at about 08.00 am, you will be dropped to Marinda Airport Raja Ampat (RJM). (B). End of Tour.
