Things to do

• You can go on a water taxi to ulva island to see some wonderful endangered species and plant because there is a lack of predators. Two of the three times a week that you are able to go to ulva island are guided.

Also they say the skies look bigger in Rakiura national park.

• Rakiura has an excellent range of animals and they are Tui, bellbirds, tomtits, grey warblers and fantails plus kiwi also red crowned parakeets, bush parrots, Stewart island robins, three kinds of penguin, farm birds, banded rails, weka and lots of great seabirds.
