Palm Garden Beach Resort & Spa has a total of 214 well-decorated rooms that vary from superior to suite rooms. Out of the rooms, there are twenty (20) bungalows, 14 of which are located on the beach, facing the ocean while the other 6 are located on the beautiful garden setting. All of the bungalows are well-designed with open-air bathtubs. The Resort also has three (3) Junior Suites and two (2) Palm Garden Suite, located at a private area. Jar/ Pot breaking Similar to the Mexican Piñata break, the jar break is also a fun and sometimes funny group activity. Small terracotta jars are hanging between two palm trees. The team lines up in rows. The first team member in the row will be blindfolded. With the help of his team he must try to break the jar with a bat. Each team member gets a chance. The first team that breaks a certain number of jars is the winner

TEAM BUILDING ACTIVITIES / Basket Boat Race

Basket Boat Race A competition based on team work and group motivation using the traditional round fishing boats of Vietnam. The group divides into teams that line up at the beach. Each team gets a basket boat. The first person in the each row starts to navigate the somewhat peculiar boat through a designated course in the sea. As soon as they finish the course and return back to the beach they pass on the boat to the next member of his team. Everyone will get a chance. The team that finishes first is the winner.

Lifeguards and a rescue boat secure the safety of the team at all times.

TEAM BUILDING ACTIVITIES / Ocean Kayak Race

Ocean Kayak Race The group will be dividing into teams, which line up in rows. The distant of the race is about 100 meters depending on the strength of the team. Each Team gets one Kayak. Each team member gets a chance to paddle the kayak through a designated course in the sea. The team that finishes first is the winner.

Tug of War A game of teamwork, strength and solidarity. The group divides into teams. If there are more than two teams, then a lucky draw decides which two teams will compete against each other in the first run. The first pair of teams will line up along a thirty meter rope. The teams face each other. In the centre of the rope there will be a clear mark. In the sand there is one centre mark and about 2 meters away from that mark to both sides along the rope, there are two more marks. Before the game starts the two centre marks line up. As soon as the whistle starts the game the lined up teams pick up one end of the rope and pull very strong with all the strength they have. The team that pulls the centre mark of the rope all the way to the mark towards their team is the winner of this run. This game goes on until there is a champion, a runner up and a second runner up

Boat Racing On Sand This game needs the members’ skillful and clever cooperation together, is very necessary. Every member sit on Sand for connecting, the last person’s legs put into the first one’s waist, two hands rely on two sides for creating paddle-shape until it become a boat. Its boat’s length is long or short that depends on amount of players. Therefore, this is a very exciting game for reducing stress as well as increasing power. Its purpose is to help us get along with and help each other in society

Putting sandinto the bottle

It is a game that needs your partner’s skillful and clever together for getting good result. Everyone lines up and transfer each other in sitting position from the first person to the last one hand. The last one’s responsibility is to put the sand into the bottle after getting them from their partners. The sides will get success when the sand overflows their bottle’s mouth with the shortest time. Although it is a very new game, young people likes it so much because of its fun and members’ attachment together.

Overcoming Barriers This game is a game which is reciprocal in the teams together. The player will be blindfolded and then they will move toward the target without seeing barriers. Good players have to use their sense of hearing for getting direction from others exactly to avoid stepping up ready made barriers. There will be lots directions from your group’s members and others who are participating in this game, so you must recognize which are your partners. Which side can get the longest distance in shortest time that were set up from examiners that side will win (including number of guests in every team)

MISS UNIVERSE 2008 It was a wonderful honor for Palm Garden Beach Resort & Spa and the city of Hoi An to host Miss Universe 2008. Amazing beauty pageants from 84 countries joined the program “Miss Universe in Hoi An City and Beach” on 25th June, 2008. The event was a great success and left unforgettable impressions for the people of Hoi An and Vietnam.

CHAM ISLAND TOUR “Cu Lao Cham” is situated on The Silk Road of China. Foreign merchantmen consider it is a navigator when they come to Hoi An. It is about 18 kilometers from mainland and takes a half hour by high-speed boat. Cu Lao Cham is an arched island cluster including 8 large and small islands with a population of 3,000. Inhabitants here live mainly in Hon Lao and by fishing trade. In this land, there are beautiful wild-beaches, varied species of coral ranges, plenteous sea creatures. Besides, Cham Island also has many historic sites (3,000 - year - old archaeological vestiges, pagodas, mausoleums, temples, etc) which are very suitable for eco-tourism.

My Son or Marble Mountains

MY SON HOLYLAND My Son has a lot of attractive sites in the Southeast Asia and draws a large number of art researchers all over the world. This was a cathedral of Champa King before. My Son has been built from 4th century to 13th century to offer Shiva Goddess - Extermination God. It is also a place which is of the most typical works of art architectures with more than 70 temples and towers; however, there are only 20 temples and towers retained rather whole. Once you visit My Son Holy land, you may be feel mysterious scenery from towers built by joint-together sandstone bricks without any glue. They always stand steadily under severe sunlight or heavy rain for thousands of years.
